What’s covered?

Any defect in material and workmanship resulting from personal, normal use in accordance with the owner’s manual.

For How Long?

Bat-Caddy – One (1) year from the date of purchase for caddy, caddy parts, battery and electronics. Caddy accessories and treads are covered under this warranty for 90 days. 

Motocaddy

Standard Warranty Conditions

The trolley and charger are covered by a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse (as set out in the relevant manual) or commercial use is not covered. Motocaddy batteries are covered by a separate warranty (12-month Lead-acid / 24 month Lithium) and can be registered online using our Battery Warranty Registration form.

The standard Motocaddy warranty only covers purchases made in Canada and the use of the trolley, battery, and charger in Canada. If you encounter a problem with your trolley, battery, or charger within the warranty period, please contact the place of purchase or call us direct on (877) 267-8200 to allow us to rectify the problem as soon as possible. In the unlikely event you need to make a claim you must provide your proof of purchase so please ensure this is retained.

If we diagnose that you require a spare part, we will send it to you by first class post with easy-to-follow fitting instructions. Failing which we will collect, repair (if possible), and return the faulty product (or its replacement) at our cost (in the case of a faulty trolley, this must be in its original packaging). If the fault is not covered by these warranty conditions, you will be liable for the courier and admin charges plus the costs of parts and labor. A repair will normally be carried out but in the unlikely event that the trolley, battery, or charger cannot be fixed, a replacement will be given. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase.

The warranties contained herein are offered as an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. These warranties are non-transferrable.


Motocaddy Lithium Warranty

The Motocaddy Lithium battery and charger are both covered by a full 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. In addition to the standard 24-month warranty, Motocaddy now offers a 5-year warranty (additional 3-years) on the battery (this excludes the charger). Both the standard and 5-year warranties only cover purchases made in Canada, for use in Canada.

In order to qualify for the 5-year warranty (additional 3-years) the battery must be registered online using the relevant Warranty Registration form within 45 days of purchase.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse or commercial use is not covered. Motocaddy warrants that all LiFePO4 Lithium batteries will retain 75% of the original rated capacity (Wh).

Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase. The warranties contained herein are offered as an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to request proof of purchase. We also reserve the right depending on location to charge for shipping on any new replacement battery and this will be at our discretion at the time of replacement.

Motocaddy Lithium Batteries are subject to the standard Motocaddy warranty terms & conditions.


Motocaddy Accessories & Bag Warranty

Motocaddy Accessories and Bags are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse, misuse, or commercial use is not covered.

The standard Motocaddy warranty only covers purchases made in Canada and use within Canada. If you encounter a problem within the warranty period, please contact the place of purchase or call us direct to allow us to rectify the problem as soon as possible. In the unlikely event you need to make a claim you must provide your proof of purchase so please ensure this is retained. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase.

PowaKaddy

PowaKaddy electric trolleys come with a 2 year warranty (3 year on FX7,  CT6, CT8 and RX1), and a 5 year pro-rated  warranty on the lithium battery.  Find out more about our Warranty Terms.  Should you be unfortunate and have a problem while your trolley, battery or charger are in warranty, please contact us.

Geographic Scope

These warranties apply only to original products purchased in Canada from a Canadian authorized dealer or distributor. This warranty does not cover trolleys that are out of Country.

How To Get Warranty Service
To get warranty service for your trolley you must contact the dealer in Canada you purchased it from or sales@golftrolleys.ca and provide proof of date and place of purchase of the product. At our discretion we will provide one of the following Warranty services:

  • Do-It-Yourself Service: Diagnose the problem and make arrangements to get appropriate replacement parts.
  • Shop Service: If repair cannot be reasonably performed by customer, we will return your caddy or the defective parts in question to one of our Service Centers and repair or replace them at our expense.

For warranty services you must retain the original packing material in the event you need to ship your product back to one of our Service Centers. Charges for replacement packaging and shipping of such will apply.

What These Warranties Do Not Cover

These warranties do not cover wear parts, such as rubber tire treads or remote control batteries or scratches/dents on frame or components caused by normal use. The warranty does not cover damage to the caddy caused by batteries or chargers other than those supplied by the manufacturer or third party damage caused by batteries and chargers in general. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, damage while in transit to our service locations, or damage resulting from alterations, misuse or abuse or ignoring of operating instructions, lack of proper maintenance, water damage due to hosing down or power washing product or submerged contact with water hazards, lakes or other water bodies, any loss of control of the unit resulting in equipment or consequential damage, unauthorized repair or modifications of the product, affixing any attachment not provided with the product, overloading of the product, fire, flood, or acts of God, or failure to follow the instructions in the Owner’s Manual. This warranty also does not cover any international shipping cost or foreign repair services due to exportation of the cart from the country of original purchase, or the cost of shipping to any destination that is not the destination the caddy was originally shipped to.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary under local and Provincial law.

LIMITATIONS & LIABILITY: IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY ARE LIMITED. WE WILL NOT PAY FOR: LOSS OF USE OF YOUR PRODUCT OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY YOUR GOLF TROLLEY PRODUCT OR BATTERY OR ITS FAILURE TO WORK; ANY SPECIAL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PERFORMANCE OR FAILURE TO PERFORM UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, OR FROM THE FURNISHING, PERFORMANCE OR USE OF ANY GOODS OR SERVICE SOLD PURSUANT HERETO, WHETHER DUE TO A BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, MISUSE OR MODIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT OR OTHERWISE NEITHER YOU NOR THE MANUFACTURER SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY TO THE OTHER FOR INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN.
